Hey guys! I was wondering, is anyone else having trouble with eating too much? It's like my pouch takes longer to realize it's full and by the time it does I am miserable! This doesn't happen all the time, but when it does there is nothing I can do but force myself to throw it up! I have tried eating slow, but my doctor says after 15min to stop eating, but sometimes I am still hungry...............I guess I am just having trouble getting used to the new hardware, lol. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi there,
I too was having that same problem...so I started mesuring my food before I plate it...That way there's no chance I will overeat...Good luck!

I have to measure my food. Sometimes I feel full after and sometimes hungry still. The problem I'm having is not drinking for an hour after each meal..... it's torture! LOL

I am still dealing with that as well. Eat smaller portions I find that when I am full my stomach makes the gurgling sound almost like its hungry but it's not.I am still learning and I am almost two months out. It is definitely a learning process. I have been measuring my food at times so maybe that can help you. Also if you have a nutritionist speak to her or you can always contact your surgeon.
Best wishes hun

I just did that tonight.  I had to force some to come up.    How much are you measuring?  2 oz total?  3oz?  By the cup?

Thanks for all your advice guys! I haven't been really measuring, but  I only get very small portions. My husband is in Iraq right now so I don't really cook, so tuna has been my meal of choice. I think my biggest issue is I need to eat really, really slowly!
