It seems eggs is the only thing that is keeping edna(pouch) happy! I chew chew chew and takes me a while to eat....  I am unable to eat any meet period, thats including my fi****he only foods that I have been able to keep down are baby food desserts... eggs... cucumbers, cheese, and hummas! I am very limited on what to eat. I have tried beans and vomited... although i havent tried them this week I will attempt those again... A little frustrating.... then theres the times where you can eat the food, only for it to come back up for example mashed potato.... Its learning to eat all over again. I am not really complaining... I love my Rny so far, ask me that when my hair starts falling you, chances are you wont get the same response.... I am just tired of puking... and tired of eggs, thankfully you can make different kinds

Tell Edna that if she doesn't allow you variety soon, I'm gonna kick her ass! Senor Grouchy Pouch only likes cheese, tuna with mayo, egg with mayo, and sugar free popsicles....... that's it right now!! Anything else makes me feel sick. Hopefully, this feeling goes away soon..... for both of us!!

There was about a week when all I could eat were eggs. I made a quiche with 4 eggs, fat free half and half (3/4 c), shredded  monterey jack cheese (about a cup) and green onions chopped up fine. Put it in a crust , cook for about 40 minutes and I ate slivers that whole week. Settled very well with me. It had such a good flavor.

Best of luck! This to shall pass!

Peppie La Pouch was not allowed anything but puree foods for the first three weeks. Then I was allowed to introduce one new food at a time, like you do with babies when they start on solids. Remember Edna's inflamation will not be completely down until around month 2.  On the plus side...eggs are great protein! Scrambled, poached, fried, steamed, cooked in a little soufle dish with cheese and cream. Omelettes with spinach and cheese...
Okay, so I'm on an egg kick this week  sorry.

A warning about beans, depending on the type, the husky skin can get lodged in inflamed areas, and cause vomitting.

Keep your chin up....and eggs down.  It will get better very soon.

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
