weekend of "wow"s

I've been bringing my summer wardrobe up to see what can go to consignment.  I thought I'd consign a few things and that the rest of the summer collection would get me through this year.  However, just about everything I tried on was *already* too big so it looks like I'll be consigning most of it.

The next bit of fun was at my workout this morning.  One of the weight machines has always been a bit of a challenge for me; even with the seat back as far as possible, I couldn't get the padded bar (that keeps your hips from lifting to do the work) down and locked into space because my belly took up the space the bar was intended for.  Today, the bar dropped into place as neat as you please with room to spare.

When I was done with the workout, I went to the waiting area while my friend changed and discovered that they're replaced the chairs with smaller ones that had arms.  I almost walked away but I was shaky from the workout so tentatively dropped into the chair...it fit just fine.  Great wow moment for me.

How's it going for the rest of the February Club?

Congradulations!!! I am very excited to hear it.. Keep up the great work..  I am doing ok, having a few difficulties with food, nothing major but finding myself getting very sick at certain times.. not sure what thats about but I am hanging in there.. I have lost about 35lbs now, I am excited but frustrated in the same breath.. Its been a hard month but I am hoping things get easier as time moves on.. please keep up the great work and keep me updated on your progress...

Congrats everyone :)  I always love hearing about peoples wow moments.

I haven't really had true ones any yet, but I have always had a really big stomach (PCOS) so fitting in some booths got to be uncomfortable.  Last night hubby and I went out and I sat in a fairly small one and had some room to spare.  I was excited :)

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!

As for me, I have been having issues.....just a lot of head hunger.  I havent slipped since the pepperoni incident.  (probably wont)

Lately I have yet again been having problems with protein drinks.  GRRR... This is so annoying.

I switched to slimfast because everything was making me sick.  Well...now the slimfast makes me !!  great huh?!?!  So today I decided to try to get myself on a schedule.  I got up at 5 am.  So far this is what I have eaten/drank.

2 eggs w/ cheese
32 oz water
hormel chili w/turkey 1/2 cup
soymilk 8ozs

protein=31g             fluids=40ozs

Im going to eat a 3.5 oz chicken breast for dinner...25g protein
snack later 8oz of soymilk--8g protein 8oz fluids

then of course another 20ozs of water.

WISH ME LUCK!!

I'm so glad to read how much you are eating. People I know are still acting like I'm a freak when I tell them I can eat 3 oz of chicken. It goes down awesome and I don't feel sick, so I figure I'm okay! Even my nutritionist was like "add some veggies and a complex carb to get it up to 4-6 oz per meal".

Sounds like having a plan is a good idea. I definitely need to join you on that!

No real wows for me yet except people seeing me and saying how wonderful I look. It surprises me every time.

Thanks for sharing.
