ok guys i love reading all this info....well am two weeks out two an am still with the second stage liquid, seems everybody else has moved to solids  but its ok am not hungry!! just trying all the new liquids stuff and then moving to soft foods in two weeks. that horrible pain i had sims was from overdoing the walking ...has receeded greatly and am able to move more and more ...still not able to sleep in my bed  wich i miss greatly but its one of those big tall beds. soon i keep telling myself soon.  am afraid to do too much in fear the pain will come back. other than that i feel great and i think is part of recovery for the cough  and flue like symptoms. am so glad we all decided to do this ...i had my ck up today got my stitches removed and total loss of 30 lbs  wow!!! i dont see it in my body but i can tell in my face. all is great!  dr said back in a month for blood test. also am a little concerned about my diabetes meds...have not taken them since three weeks pre op and my sugars were great , all the time at hospital under 85 but last couple of days 120 and 136.... not liking that any advice?   thanks so much for your support. Congratulations on your weight loss! I am glad to hear that you are feeling better! I guess my surgeon advances the diet much faster than everyone elses! Two weeks out and I am already eating fish, eggs, and chicken! I guess that isn't the norm though!

I'm still not able to sleep in my bed either and dealing with constipation..... yay....LOL!

As for blood sugars, you're still in a good range! I haven't taken mine since the Friday before surgery and Dr Fitzer said to check 3 times a day and to call him if I get 2 consecutive readings below 90 or above 198. I think you'll find your numbers going down as you lose the weight as well. The more overweight you are, the more resistance your body is to the insulin it produces.

Great loss so far!!!!!

Congratulations on the weight loss. Hope you will be feeling better. Definitely get your rest when you need it. Some days are better than others so rest while you can and walk when you can and it will get better day after day. Wish you the best.
