Good to see someone else eating I have tried a few times but I am still able to take more pureed than anything else in. Congratulations on all success that has come your way!

Steph how long before you could sleep on your side?  I spent the first three days waking every 2 hours and haveing to get up and walk.  That was as long as I could sleep in one spot with out moving.  I was able to sleep 4 hours in a row last night.  I could at least lean to one side.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Glad to hear that you are doing well! I was worried for you there for a while! Your weight loss is impressive, and you amaze me at how no matter what you are going through you are always positive! Congratulations on a great month!

I guess I am doing alright.  Since surgery I got to visit the er twice...was admitted once...I got to enjoy about a week of pureed foods....and now I am back on liquids because my stoma is swollen.  (dont do pepperoni's they dont do well)

as for weight loss...i started at 326 day of surgery and i am currently at 288.  YAY!! I am having to find new homes for all my size 26/28 clothes!

Lovin it!!  Wish I could go back to pureed.....but other than that..doing pretty well.

Oh yeah...almost forgot, my B12 was really low, so instead of sub. i am taking injections now!

CONGRATS FEB. BUDDIES!!  LETS KEEP THIS GOING!!  GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!

Congratulations and I am happy to see your doing good as well. I get B-12 shots monthly just like you have been since last year. Was told they will continue for the rest of my life. Its all good rather that needle instead of crushing more pills.

I am so glad everyone is doing so well!!  As for getting out of bed I had no problems or pain since the day I came home.  I was able to sleep on my side, like I always do.

I went to the doc today and was weighed.  My weight loss has been slow, compared to some of you, but in the month since surgery, I lost 20 lbs!  I am happy with that.  I hope I can lose 20 lbs each month for at least several more months.  I am feeling great, but occasionally become very tired mid-day.

I had my 4 week followup today and have lost 20 lbs!  My friends say they can see it- I don't really see it.  My arms are squishy now instead of firm- so I can feel that.  My next appointment is in 8 weeks.  I have refused to buy a scale because I didn't want to get down when the weight stalled.  I felt like saying "No I need to see you in another 4 weeks!"  Anyway he said I am exactly where I need to be and keep up the good work- and then I got a high five!

Did you take some photos before and after? I didn't see the weight loss but in the photos i can see the inches coming off and it helped me to see and recognize what was happening with my body. Wish you the best on your journey.
