I'm feeling alot better. I still have a bit of pain with certain movements or if I overdo it trying to get something done. Pouchy loves cottage cheese..... doesn't like potatoes :(

So, how is everyone else doing since surgery?

Thanks Marla..... I'm feeling great about the numbers and still finding it amazing that I'm not hungry!! The hubby and kids had pizza last night and normally I would have had more than my fair share of it. I happily sat and had my 2 tbsp of cottage cheese instead and it didn't bother me one bit!

Sorry to hear that your pouch is causing you a bit of grief! Hope you feel better soon!

Congrats!  I just had my 2 week postop today.  I am down 17 pounds.  YEA!  I'm not hungry either.  But tonight we did go to Mexican restaurant to celebrate.  My refried beans with cheese were devine...the couple spoonfuls I ate until I felt full.

I need to look up different ways to eat cottage cheese...I always had it with some jello growing up...I guess I could mix it with the sugar free kind as a dessert or snack.

That 17lbs feels great..... doesn't it? Great loss for 2 weeks!!
I'm looking forward to being able to mix some fruit into the cottage cheese!

Wow, you are doing great! I haven't taken measurements.

I love cottage cheese too or i guess I should say my pouch does. I buy the 4 pack of 4 oz serving. Mix in a spoonful of sugar free strawberry preserves....yummy!

Thanks :)

I buy the little containers too. I think we're the only people in the world who save money with convenience packaging...LOL

Thanks Shelba!! It's awesome! If it weren't for this bloody constipation, I would feel like a million bucks right now!
