I'm home...Again!

I had the unpleasant experience of being admitted to the hospital again.  My surgical site that the Visiting Nurses were packing starting to get a very unpleasant smell. I couldn't take it any longer.  We drove the two hours to the hospital and then had to wait 3 hours in the triage.  When I was finally brought to the room, guess what?  Big infection, they had to do the drainage and I got the IV and pain meds, was admitted for a couple days.  I was able to talk them into letting me out yesterday.  I feel better, but now have a open five in*****ision in my stomach that has to be packed.  I am still positive this was the right thing for me to do. I am not thinking "why did I do this to myself", some of us heal quicker than others.   I am happy that everyone is doing great with their surgeries, i love reading how well you all are doing. 

 Wow seems like your going through a lot. I hope and pray things get better for you as the days go on. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers for success from here on out. I hope you feel better day by day.

Oh my, you have been through the ringer.  I am so glad you are home and hope you have only great days ahead of you.  Best of luck in your healing process.

Glad your back home.  You sure have been thru a ordeal.
