BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

REALIZE Band on 02/25/09

I'm having Lap Band 2/25/09.... next Wednesday... Just did a pre-op class today along with all of my labwork.,... Friday I'll have my Ultrasound of the gallbladder @ 9AM, and see my surgeon @ 12 noon. I'm excited and scared all in the same breathe.

Lap Band on 02/25/09

I had my pre-admit today. Everything is a go except I now have to get an unltra sound of the liver. The doc says I have a fatty liver even after being on liquids for 8 days.

Lap Band on 02/24/09

I am being banded on Feb 24th. Last few days of the diet are killing me but I am 7 pounds down. Ive been on here looking for post op posts by people who were banded and I am not having any luck.

At least you are losing. I'm NOT! I gained 2 pounds in the first 3 days. I'm holding my own now but, no lost.

Lap Band on 02/18/09

I was banded on the 18th. Everything went well. Home yesterday. Having lots of gas and doing lots of walking around.

I'm waiting for the day that I'm not so bloated and uncomfortable. I'm taking small sips of everything but just know that I must be taking in air as I do.

Any suggestions about gas?
