Feb 16thers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey all you 2/16ers....Are you ready???? I sure am. I am alittle nervous, only because I am in the medical field and I feel like I know a little too much about certain things that are going to be done to me when I under sedation.  But the good thing is, I wont feel it or remember anything, so I guess its okay. I just cant stand the thought of them shoving that tube down my throat, because I have seen it done so many times. My doctor explained to me that seeing someone intubated in the icu because they are in respiratory distress and being intubated in the OR in a controlled, calm environment are two totally different things. But I stiil get creeped out!!!! I am working up until the very last minute too. I get off work at 3am on the 16th....and goin straight to the hgospital. I figure I will sleep when I get there...LOL. If I dont work the night before, I wil just sit around and think about it constantly. So at least the time will pass by faster.

I am alittle nervous as well but I guess it's normal. We have waited and worked for this moment lets enjoy it together. I wish you a speedy recovery and I will pray for you all tomarrow. I think I am concerned with the moment I wake up.

I'm not getting to nervous right now. I honestly don't think I will until I pull into that hospital parking lot tomorrow. It just really doesn't seem like the day is finally here. *sigh* Good luck tomorrow everyone!

Praying for all of you!  You will do great!  I did a whole lot of praying the days before my surgery and had so much peace that day, it was unreal.  Praying this for you, too.
