Surgery Cuts....
I am allowed to drive, now. I had to wait until my 1 week follow up appt. When I told my doctor, I did get a bit tired at times, he seemed shocked. LOL And told me to have more protein and my energy level would go up. I have been walking on my treadmill on day three after surgery and have everyday since. Slow walking, but walking. I have increased from 5 min and now I am at 12 minutes, 1 week and 2 days post op.

My surgeons rule is day 2 post op. I asked to shower the day after surgery and was denied due to dr's orders. It was'nt a big deal since I had no physical activity since my anticeptic shower a few hours before surgery. Also, I had a private bath and plenty of washcloths so I could take my time and have a thorough bird bath at the sink.
