Anyone else crazy enough to schedule for Friday the 13th?

I have my RNY scheduled for Friday the 13th.  When trying to figure out a date my surgeon asked if I am superstitious.  I was a bit confused by the questions and told him I am not.  He said, "Good.  I'm not either.  How about Friday the 13th?"   I guess Friday the 13th now becomes my lucky day.  I can't wait!

Shoot I would.....but I gotta wait til the 18th(not a laugh..is temper tantrum).....

No, would not bother me a bit.  I trust in GOD, and so the date would not be a factor for me.    I will be praying for a great surgery day for you and a quick recovery.

I am sooooooo excited. 

I have my RNY scheduled for Friday the 13th as well.  Hope it turns out to be lucky 13!  My surgery will be in beautiful San Diego, California.  I am really excited and can not wait until next Friday.  Best wishes for  your surgery and the beginning of a new healthier life.

My original date was the 13th and I thought the same as you...the 13th will finally be a "lucky" day.   I was changed to the 11th.   Good luck to you on the 13th..you are going to do great!
