Got home this afternoon about 3:00 p.m. My surgery was good but my oxygen level went way down so I stayed in the recovery room until 1:00 am my surgery was at 7:30 a.m. on February 3rd.There is only one incision that hurts and that is where the drain pouch was. Other than that it's all good. I will be on oxygen for a while and I will also have a nurse come and visit me to make sure nothing is getting infected and my oxygen level is ok. This will be a rough road to recovery but it will be better in the near furture.Yes I am feeling weak gotta pull myself up these stairs to go to the bathroom and all but I have two teenage sons willing to help me out so I am lucky in that point.Just wanted to update have a good one.

Congratulations! I am so glad to hear that things are going okay! I wi**** would have gone a little easier for you, but it is good that you are on the road to recovery! Honestly I signed on just a minute ago to post a message asking for some supportive words because today is day 5 of the all liquid diet for me and I am having a really hard time! I haven't cheated but I am really struggling witht he cravings! (right now I am craving steak). Anywho, I signed on for support so that I won't cheat, and I actually found that support reading your post! Seeing how you have achieved your goal and are moving on has helped me to curb my unhealthy appetite. So thank you!

Keep strong and stick to the liquid diet. It will only help you and allow for a better recovery in the long run. The guidlines the surgeon gives us are there for reasons. Two weeks out of a lifetime seems like a lifetime but it isn't and if you stick to it you will feel so much better in the long run.I wish you the best and focus I use to get up and do something and I sincerely hibernated in my room when it wasn't working watched tv exercised stayed focused so do what keeps you focused and retrain your mind stop thinking about that food and start thinking healthy I know its hard but I was just there.

Thank you so much it's great to be at home and in my own bed. Resting as much as I can trying to get in all my protein and also walking around trying to stay active.
