i did it! 2 days out and counting!

hi everyone! i have been reading everyones topics for weeks now. And now its my time to post. I had my surgery (lap-band) on wed, at hurley in flint, mi. it was a success, and now i am home (got home yesterday in the afternoon) recovering. i feel good, im eating well, (just my cream soups, my protein shake, and water). im sleeping on the couch because i dont feel comfortable enough to lay all the way down without some assistance getting up. I really was regretting getting this done that day of, but only 2 days out and i feel good. im walking about, and doing what i can. my mom is staying with me while my husband is at work to help with my children, so thank the lord that i have her support. the binder is the best thing ever, i feel more secure wearing it, and im sure thats what its for. 
i just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has posted topics because i went into this feeling like i had friends to talk to when i was in recovery.
i have a long way until im at my goal, but this weight didnt come on over night, its not going anywhere overnight!

Congratulations on your surgery.  I agree this is the best place to be to know you're not alone.  Good to hear you're doing well. 

I've got two days until...  I plan to be posting my success story next Wednesday.
