Having surgery on Monday, 02/09

Good luck to you too.  Definitely keep me posted. Mine's at 7:30 am PST, but have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am.  Glad I'm not alone. 

I should be going into surgery as you're getting to the hospital.  I'll say a prayer for both of us as I go in.

How are you doing?  I was released from the hospital yesterday. 

I feel like I've been soccer punched.  Is this normal?  Feels like lots of bubbles inside of me.

Wow, my doctor is over-conservative which I like!!!  I wasn't released from the hospital until Sunday, the 15th.  I will say that an adverse reaction to the anti-naseau medication they were giving me through my IV probably added a couple of days to my stay, but I'm really glad he kept me.

I'm doing absolutely fine, just very, very weak.  I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect to be this weak or this bloated for this long.  I think by next week I should be doing much better.

I hope everyone else is doing well.  I'm experimenting with some foods and finding the protein drinks I was drinking before surgery no longer like my tummy, but other than those modifications, I expect all will be great within a short period of time.
