getting banded on Feb. 26th

Would like to know or chat with anyone that is getting banded on that date...

I am getting mine done on the 24th, so we will be in close proximity.
I just found out today and I am a combination of excited and absolutely scared to death.

I have the same feelings as you....

I just got my surgery date- Feb.24th! I'm also getting the band. I didn't know if I was going to throw up or whoop for joy! I can't believe this is finally happening...

I know.. I am excited and nervous at the same time!!! you start the liquid diet yet?

Not yet. I start on Feb.10th. I am hoping to drop a few pounds during this liquid diet but I've heard that sticking to it is pretty difficult. I mean, if we could do a liquid diet we wouldn't even be here, right?

I can't agree with you more.  What kind of liquid diet are you going to be on? my doctor is putting me on slim-fast... yummy .... got any plans for a "" last meal """

Are you kidding? Everyday is a food fest! My family is going to have a "last meal" celebration. I know it's silly but I really feel like I'm making a life change and it's like saying goodbye to the old me. My doctor is starting me on OptiFast on the 11th (my date was hanged to 2/25). At east Slim Fast is cheap!

I tried the cans but did not really care for the taste so I tried the powder.  I have found that I like the slim fast powder better.  I know I am limited this way but I will probley add in a can from time to time.  I am so ready to get this done and start my "new life "
