Abnormal pre-surgery lab?

I just went to my pats Monday 26, I was called today at lunch that my throid level is still on the high side. I informed the nurse that my meds were just upped to a higher level. Now I have to do a repeat test of the level with my pcp. I see him next week,will this have anything to do withputting off my surgery to another date? I wouldnt worry to much. Although If i am not mistaken could it means your white blood cell count is elevated? This is could be because of a bladder infection,  or your white cell count can also go up do to stress and such. All will fine!
