Nice to know I have a same day buddy...   <----(protein drinks)

 Yes, I'm ready for the date to come.  It is nice to know I won't be the only one.  I have been looking into those protein drinks, and stocking up with sugar free jello &  sugar free puddings, & so forth, getting ready for the 10 day liquid diet.

I hope to loose at least 10lbs during this time.
WE CAN DO THIS! 
Hang in there, we are at the threshold to a healthier, happier, longer life!

I want to lose at least 10 lb's before my surgey date too. WE CAN DO THIS..!!!

I'm stocking up on food, measuring cups, food scales, ...etc too. I have 4 - 6 weeks off work after the surgery so maybe we can talk now & then about what we will be going through when we are Post-op....

Yes, that would be great.  Right now, I will only plan to take off a 4 day weekend, counting the day of the surgery.  I'm a secretary, so no heavy lifting or anything that could harm me during my recovery.  Since work for the company has slowed down, I only work 3 days a week at present.
If you have any tips as we go along, please pass them on.  I will do the same. 
We will do this with flying colors!

Hi Susan,

WOW, that's quick to go back to work even if you are a secretary, isn't it?  Did your doctor ok that, if you don't mind me asking?(you can answer me in mail if you like)

I work for The Gas Company so my job is more physical and my doc asked me to take at least a month off.

Thank you so much for doing this list.  I wish everyone on it a quick recovery and my prayers will be with you on your surgery day!

I am acually getting scared and nervous now.  I know that we all get that way with the date coming up. I find myself wondering if I am making the right decision.  I really know I am, but the doubting thomas is in my head!!  I am going to ******vous wreck the day of surgery.  The nurse all ready told me they will give me something to calm me down.

Okay, enough with being negative.  We are positive!!   Again, Good luck to everyone here!!
