February 11th in Central Massachusetts! Excited!!!!

I am so excited that I finally got my date of February 11th..... Excited! and a little nervous.... a healthy dose I think.

My son will be home for spring break in March and my oldest daughter will come up from PA after the surgery. My youngest will be home from school that day and be at the hospital with me and my husband and my Mom and Dad.

How did you find having visitors after surgery.... I was thinking I will like to have family and close friends.... did anyone else have the same feeling?

I know any time I've been in the hospital I've liked having a few visitors but not be overwhelmed with them. This time will be pretty quiet though..... I'll be a 4 hour drive from home so it'll just be the friend that's coming with me.

im feb 11th too! i was scheduled for this monday jan 19 but becuz i didnt lose enough weight they rescheduled,a little upset but trying to think positive

I am glad that we get to share the same day!   I am hopeful that doesn't happen to me.... .I forgot that at pre-testing they can change your date if you have gained an ounce..... That is the one thing that worries me the most!  I am following my program but some days I just feel like blarg!  I am nervously excited and am getting ready psychologically. I helped my best friend's husband pull of a surprise birthday party for her today and it was a huge success!!!! It was a success for me because I did not eat anything.... particularly the frosted rectangle!!!! I decided that I have had enough of that in my life! I am ready for my new life whi*****ludes healthy foods and no more junk! I want to LIVE!

Hi there, my date is also the 11th.. in VA.. I'm scared and excited.  No turning back now, I can't wait til it's here. 

I'm finishing up my pre-op stuff and then I will be good to go.

I haven't had to lose any weight before surgery, and I don't think I have to do a liquid diet either, but I think I am going to do at least 3 days before.

I'm really worried about getting in my fluids and protien.

My surgery is on the 11th at Potomac Hospital - are you having yours at Fairfax Hospital? I check in at 6:30 and my surgery is at 8:00 AM - I am getting so excited! Dr. Halmi is doing my surgery but I have met Dr. Anez - he was going to do my surgery in 2005 but there were problems with my insurance.
