RNY on Feb. 2nd!!

The surgeons office just called me to tell me I am approved by insurance and to set my daye!!   FEBRUARY 2nd!!  That is three weeks from today!!!!  Holy cow!!  They wanted to do it sooner, but I need a little time to prepare.  I am so dang excited!!!

Excellent!!  I'm scheduled for 2/3 and am starting to get very excited (and a little scared).

I am a 2-2-09 apt too!!  I am so excited that there is someone that has the same day as me!!!  I am getting RNY and my pre op appt is a week from tomorrow!

Congrats on getting your date!  I am also having rny on 2/2. I just did my pre-opt stuff last thurs. Was told yesterday that I have low iron levels and have to start iron pills before surgery. Oh, well, luckily I just placed an order with celibrate vitamins.  Good luck to everyone!!  We will all be on the loosers bench soon!

Yea for you! I could've posted your same message. My date is also Feb 2 and when they called they also wanted to do it sooner. After waiting almost 3 years, you'd think I'd have jumped at the chance, but I just needed that additional week to process everything. I'm so excited, it's almost all I think about. Good luck with everything and I can't wait to follow all the progress of those that have similar dates. We can keep each other motivated.
