Emily, thanks for the thoughts and prayers. My dad was an amazing man. I was describing my upcoming surgery to him the day before he left us. He was, well, grossed out to be honest, but very excited for me.
So, I'm up for keeping in the loop with all the February 9 ers! I agree with Cathy, posting our date is a good way for us all to keep in the loop. I have my pre-surgery appt.on the 20th, and am getting a bit anxious, but in a good way. I finally told more people at work, who are also excited for me, but hoping I won't be out of the office too long.
