My date is February 18th 2009

I received my approval letter November 15th 2008! I applied November 12th 2008, I will be having surgery in Ypsilanti, Michigan-The Barix Clinic, Andre Nunn will be doing my surgery. I am extremely anxious, and scared. I know that it's normal to feel scared, but still...I have never been put to sleep or had major surgery, so I am a little frightened. Anyone else feel this way?

It's normal to feel nervous about any surgery.  I was more nervous for my gall bladder removal than my 2 c-sections.  I was awake for the c-sections, but out for the gall bladder.  Totally expected..............nerves.
We sound like we are pretty  close in where we are on our journey.  I just got my surgery date of Feb 25th 2009 with Dr. Nunn today!
 

Wow what a small world?! We all have surgery with Dr. Nunn! Pretty neat. ..My Pre Admit is February 4th, Thank goodness we dont have to travel that far to Ypsilanti! Im in Windsor, which is about a 45 min drive, and my boyfriend lives in Ann Arbor, Michgian which is only a 10min ride to Ypsilanti!

Congratulations!  I too am having surgery at Barix...Dr Poplawski on February 4th...I had originally booked for January 7th but had to postpone due to a work thing!  We'll be on the loser's bench soon!
