First poster on this board....

I've attended the seminar, had my insurance verified by the WLS program, and I definitely meet all their criteria EXCEPT no documented weight loss attempts with my PCP. So, I'm just starting my 6 months of appointments with my PCP - anyone else out there in the same place I am? Christy

Christy, I am glad to hear that someone else is at the same point as me. I'm just starting the 6 mos. of documented weight loss through my PCP.  I went to the seminar and made appt.s with nut, psych and surgeon but haven't gone to any of them yet. I hope all goes smoothly for you. It's been a bit confusing for me. Jo

Keep on Pushing guys....Feb is a good month to have Surgery in. By the time your 6 months out it's still Perfect weather to walk and keep on shedding the pounds! And 1 year later you will Love the Results! Take Care...

It sounds like we could be close to the same place.  I have had 3 months of Nut visits, PCP appointment , been the the psych and first eval at surgeon.  Just courious how you are doing?

I've had 4 visits to my PCP for "Weight Management" but that's it. (Making absolutely NO progress I might add).   I need to call the surgical center and see when we can start moving ahead with some of the other evals, but they said up front that they wouldn't do much with me until I've had at least 5 of my monthly PCP visits.  I'm not sure that my PCP has actually sent any of the documentation from my visits, either.  How are you doing?
