Topic: RE: getting anxious, feb 14th 2 weeks away!!
I am just exploring lapband surgery. I have a question. I cannot possibly imagine being on a liquid diet for 2 weeks....if I could do THAT I might not have to do the lapband? The thought of keeping a liquid diet panics me! Any thoughts? Experiences? How did you get through that time period?

Oh heavens yes, but the sugar fee fudge sickles are great. Peach jello is the only
flavor I like. You can do it Amanda-just take a look at the long haul of things-
you are going to feel great and have more time with your family! I have liver problems (fatty liver) and was told I had maybe 10 years. I am 4feet 11 1/2inchces
and I am 46 (soon to be 47) and NEVER been anyway near thin. Did you know our
BMI are almost the same? Girl YOU CAN DO IT--only 1 week away. I will be praying

KNOCK KNOCK, Just kidding don't let your surgery being rescheduled get you down. I was scheduled previously for October 18th and the day before my cardiologist called to tell me he would not clear me until I underwent an angiogram. I was so dissapointed but then I got to thinking maybe this was Gods way of telling me hold on there lets re-think this. So since that time I have lost 16 pounds, went to a different surgeon and have now chosen a totally different procedure. Originally scheduled to have a Lap Band now having a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. Just remember what the ultimate goal that is to have a better quality and quanity of life.
