WELL THIS IS IT!!! i HAVE REACHED TWO YEARS OF COMPLETE WEIGHT LOSS. THIS IS THE LONGEST TIME I HAVE EVER KEPT WEIGHT OFF THAT I HAVE LOST. MY HEALTH HAS IMPROVED, MY SELF IMAGE AND MY SELF WORTH IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I SOMETIMES SEE THAT FAT GIRL IN THE MIRROR AND I STILL THINK I AM NOT WORTHY. I'LL GET THERE!!! THIS MORNING I DROVE A FRIEND TO THE AIRPORT AT 2 AM. WHEN I CAME HOME, I GRABBED A SHOVEL AND SHOVELLED THE ENTIRE PERIMITER OF THE HOUSE. THEN I SHOVELLED OUT MY NEIGHBOR, THEN I BRUSHED OFF MY SON'S CAR. I DID IT BECAUSE I COULD. TWO YEARS AGO IT WOULD HAVE BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES THE THOUGHT OF HAVING TO PUT A SHOVEL IN MY HAND AND USE IT. NOW I WAS OUT THERE WITH EASE. I WAS ALL ALONE AT 3 AM SHOVELLING SNOW AND FEELING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE THAT I HAD FINALLY ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING FOR MYSELF. JUST WANTED TO SHARE AND SAY THANKYOU TO ALL MY SUPPORT FRIENDS WHO HAVE HELPED ME ALONG THE WAY. IT TAKES A VILLAGE.... AND IS SURELY DOES. I LOVE YOU ALL AND LETS KEEP UP OUR "LOOSING "WAYS!!! Don't sell your self short at a 15 lb loss. That is terrific ! I started at a BMI over 50 and did not have to do the pre liquid thing, so that could be what prompted the dramatic loss. I read your profile and have has similar food demons since the surgery. I spent a good portion of the weekend watching the travel channel where they traveled to the top pig out places, best burgers etc, talk about self loathing. Why did I torture myself? hiya dont know if im to late on answering this or not lol. first fill your not suppose to eat anything 4 hrs before the fill and clear liquids the day of the fill. then for the day after the fill full liquids and back to the normal 2 days after the fill. After i got my first fill it was kind of strange. I could feel bubbling in the band nothing painful just kind of odd and very slight pressure. Everything will go great and the fills are nothing to be concerend about, i go for my second one next monday but just as a little advice for the clear liquid day (today) whatever you have its best to have warm liquids becuase cold can restrict you even more and with the swelling for the day it could be pretty miserable if you have any other questions you can always ask me and ill try to help you out

My date is Feb 21st and I am on my liquid diet too. I have found that drinking broth or something warm is a whole lot more satisfying that just the usual liquids. I live in S. Alabama. Even though it's just been two days, I think I have done rather well on my liquid diet. I knew it would be hard but I have to keep my eye on the prize....2 days down nine more to go. Holy Camoley! Good for you!! I started at around 275 last Tuesday, had my surgery and I am down to 260 according to my scale at home...you know, as naked as can be, morning pee, etc. When I was weighed at the hospital on Tuesday night, after surgery, I was 275.4 with the gown and catheter. When I got there on Tuesday morning I was 274.2, so I don't know how accurate my scale is, or their scales for that matter!! But enough about me...Look at you, girl! I am so happy for you (and a little jealous of you ) (Just kidding about being jealous BTW ) and so proud of you, too! Best Wishes, Jacylyn
