As a leader in my church who is 9 days post op, let me share this word with you:

Our stomachs call on us to sin night and day. Its a voice that is never quite. It has caused to sin and form our body into a momument to food!
God says--that body is mine-- that sister is mine! He forgives us our sin and would not withhold anything we do that does not harm others to help us fight sin.
Be very careful when a church causes you to look to people there for answers, not His Word.

Day 17 and I still get it, but it is much better than it was. It happens when I eat/drink too fast and gas gets caught.
And yes, I have the pulling on my incision areas. not fun....

Is it normal to be a complete nervous wreck? My date is coming so quickly. A week from tomorrow. I'm so scared of the O/R. Is this normal?

that is awesome ! I have BCBS now and am hoping they will cover my ps even tho they werent the ins co. I was with when I had my WLS 2 yrs ago

Thanks for everyone who has replied. I am going to turn this into a positive. I am sure they do it for a reason. I am just one of those people who has no patience. I want to do this over the summer and that is that. 8) People should be on my schedule anyway...LOL I could probably still get this done in the summer. I am just in knots. Nervous. Want things set in stone. Want to plan things when they are best for me. I am going to the dr on Friday. Tomorrow and getting her to put me on the diet and run some blood work to find out why I am so tired all the time and just as a precaution.
Once again thanks so much for your replies and just letting me vent.

i had it for 2 weeks around day 10 it starting going away little by little by day 15 completly gone. as for the stitch pulling 3 of my 5 were like that any way i twisted and moved it felt like it was pulling and i was kind of scared to move lol but it finally went away 3-4 weeks after surgery.

for me it was nothing like surgery. It felt a little wierd for 2 days and after that it was like no fill at all couldnt even tell a difference......until 6 days later oh man i have some restriction and honestly really confuses me. I was so use to eating a lot and all the sudden i didnt even want to. Hearing my family talk about how long its been since they've ate and how hungry they are and me feeling like i could wait till tomorrow. I have to make myself eat most of the time but i could totally live fine with 3/4 c food twice a day.
