I had mine the same day as you, I am down 30 total (including the 7 form the liquid diet before) Are we not supposed to hae weight control oatmeal or cheese? I am eating all kinds of things, I try soemthing new everyday. The nut had given me apaper with soft proteins and that was it. I have had triscuits with seafood salad today, 1/2 a wrap sandwhich with italian roast beef shredded cheese, a little lettuce, mayo.

Hi It is so weird my pain is all on my right side. I only had one incision on the left. I also had a drain and I was in severe pain. My doc took the drain out and now the pain is starting to get better. It is also all the air that they pump into your body. I had my surgery on 2-20-08. But I am not on any pain meds, but I still have pain. Just give it time. My pain tolerance is low also. J

I was told by my doctor that the expected weight to loss on the first month is the 10% of you starting weight. Personally i was 272lbs before surgery, on my first months appointment, i was 38lbs down. The first two weeks is the fastest ever, because you are not eat (well just broth and jello), on my first 10 days i lost 22lbs. Everyone is different, all depends on how active you are, what you eat and how often. Hope everything is fine and the pounds will come off, just take it easy, remember "the trick is not to loss the pounds, the trick is to maintain them off". God Bless You, Miriam
