Hi Barbara, We have the same date!!! I am doing really well as in I have never thrown up or felt badly. I went back to work after a week. Initially the weight was coming off fast...but the past 2 weeks I have been at a stall. I am down 30 pounds...but can't seem to move anymore than that now. I am trying to drink more water and hoping that will help flush more fat out! So far I have been able to eat most anything (all good choices) I have tried without issues. Write me back...I would love to know how you are doing too! Chrislena

I had my surgery 2-12-08...I have lost 30 pounds, but zero in the last 2 weeks. I am trying to drink more water, but it's hard. Luckily I have not thrown up at all...and I feel FABULOUS...like I never even had surgery. I am just trying to be patient thru this stall. I think all of our previous disappointment with diets not working makes us suspicious that this too may not work. We have been thru a lot to get to this point...we need to just hang in there...support each other and ride this out! Yep...that is what I keep telling myself OVER AND OVER! Chrislena

Topic: RE: Craving Bread and Soda!!!!!!!!!!!
I left a diet soda open in the fridge and had a little bit the day after flat. I won't say it was great but it was okay. I do eat wasa bread every now and then for my bread craving but bread is what I miss the very most....warm sourdough with butter.....I can barely stand it.

You are soooo not alone in this Racheal! For my 2 week liquid diet (actually 12 days) I lost 18lbs. Since my surgery on Feb 27th, I've only lost 15lbs : - ( While I'm like most other posters here, with the excessive vomitting, I just didn't see the major weight loss I expected. Now with week 5 coming up tomorrow, I feel so disappointed in my progress. Whereas I don't "see" the 33lb loss, I'm now in a size 18 pants versus the 26's I was in on Valentines Day. So I guess I'm technically losing the weight, I just don't see the changes yet and was I guess hoping for more visible and/or drastic loss.

Topic: Stuck on chicken
Wow, I just had an experience: I got some chicken STUCK. I eventually tried some warm tea and it went away. My question is this: does this mean that my band is working?? I had my first fill last Friday and can't really say I really feel any diferent other than this particular incident. What do you guys think?? Janice

I am about 5 1/2 weeks post op and am craving some bread and coke so bad. If I drink any more Chrystal Lite and Water I feel like I'm going to scream. Does anyone know of anything else I can drink. Also, I know the Dr. said no rice, pasta or bread, but I feel like I really want something bready? I don't like flatout wraps, any suggestions?

I had surgery 2/22/08 and have lost 40 lbs. I lost 25 in the first two weeks, and only 15 in the 3 1/2 weeks since then. I know how you feel, I'm working out all the time and watching everything that goes into my mouth. But, when I asked my friend who is 2 years post op, she looked in her diary and saw that I am at the exact same place as her when she was at this point, and she has now lost 160 lbs. So, I think that we are all normal if it makes you feel better.

I had surgery February 01. and have lost 34 pounds since then. I feel like that's really slow, but I'm glad to hear Im not the only one thinking that way.

I am so glad you posted this, I am having a hard time drinking and eating and throwing up the mucous way to often. Did your pouch hurt too? It seems like every time I eat or drink anything it hurts, (even the first bite) not tons but it is uncomfortable. I'll have to speak to my dr about the reglan. Jill
