Topic: RE: Hey all you february LOSERS!!!!
That is great! I had my surgery February 13th and have lost 61.8 since surgery and 30 before the surgery, total of 91.8. I feel great and have a good eperience with this. What a wonderful journey. I have started exercising and feel 100% better.
I also have not had any problems, not vomited once - I guess following doctors orders does make a huge difference and of course being able to tolerating the food.
Congrat to you and to all of us losers.

I had my surgery on 2/21 and am down from 258 to 197. That makes something like 50 lbs which I think is a reasonable rate considering I am almost three months out.
I am down in sizes from a 20/22 to a 16 which thrilled me. I actually shopped in the NORMAL sections at Dillards yesterday and bought two XL blouse. I got some capris that are size large (not Womens size...regular Large). That was such a high to fit into those.
How's everyone else doing?
Topic: RE: Feeling like the weight isn't coming off fast enough.....
I had my surgery 2/12/08 and I have lost almost 75# so far. My theory is that the heavier you were, the quicker and more you will lose. My surgeon said something like that to me when I went to have my staples out. I started out at 402#, so I am still in the 300's. I can't get out and walk or anything because I am 48 and after years of obesity, the damage to my knees and back is done. But I do get around alot better and I garden like a crazy person which is pretty good exercise (for a fat person anyone). Make certain that you eat 3 meals a day and don't skip....that has a lot to do with it. I wish you luck....don't worry, it will all come off!!
Topic: RE: Nausea after eating?
Yeah, Sandi, I'm feeling similar. I had my surgery 2/12. Although this happens frequently, I figured the main reason is because A) I take one bite too many or B) I try to take a little sip of my drink right after I eat. When it's B (the liquids), it usually comes right back up. I've also noticed that my gag reflex is phenominal now. Before surgery, if I felt sick and needed desperately to vomit, I would practically have to make myself vomit, but now...I can gag really easily.
Topic: RE: Anyone having issues with throwing up meals?
It's funny you mention pineapple because I have been craving it a lot lately. I have been buying fresh pineapple and eating it with my meals on occasion. I will have to pay more attention to whether I get sick when I eat it or not. I also eat a couple of bites as a snack. I just crave it all of a sudden and I always buy fresh pineapple which is sooooo good.
