Trust me I'm not to happy about the pregnancy myself. My Dr. told me the same things.....my now ex kinda took it while I was sleeping.....I'm hoping that I haven't thrown the last 4 months away either

OMG on the fact that you are pregnant.
I'm not really sure how to respond to that. I know you want to hear happiness, but not even knowing you - I feel dissapointed in you. I'm not sure what kind of pre-op training you went for, but my doc told me from day one that I should NOT get pregnant for at least 12-16 mths after surgery cuz if I did, there will be nutrional drain to the baby - which could be very harmful on the growth of the fetus.
Take care of yourself - I hope you just didnt throw away 4 mths of hard work

Well it's official as of today I'm down a total of 102 lbs. and now to top that off I've found out that I'm pregnant I'm about 8 weeks along now too! 
but I've already talked to my doctor they are a little disappointed but none the less tehy are still happy for me. Just wanted to touch bass and let you all know!!!

Hey, I had my surgery two days after yours, on Feb. 28th. I have had three fills and lost 15 pounds so far. Not much really but for me I am happy to see those pounds gone! I finally feel that my restriction is pretty good and sometimes it seems like a little too much and I have gotten things stuck, and up it comes. : ' (
I feel like the gastric bypass people are losing weight like mad and I am here just losing a little at a time...

Hi everyone. I had a lap band, and your numbers are making me quite envious and almost wish I had a RNY too. The band just takes longer to get to your goal. I have lost a mere 15 pounds, but that is 15 pounds I'll never see again! Congrats to you all! Janice

I take 10,000mcg of Biotin daily and I have noticed a big difference. You will still lose hair, but the Biotin really makes your hair grow back faster. Nature's Bounty makes a 5,000mcg capsule which is super easy to swallow and I take 2 a day after breakfast. Works great! And no, I have not noticed any abnormal hair growth anywhere else and I am Italian so I have tons of dark hair to begin with. Good Luck!

I am learning that our bodies go through so much after this life changing event that took place. It really is so scary to think I will go bald. I have met with my dermatologist
and she said that it will grow back but not w/o the proper care. She stated that good old vitamin e and tons of protein and mutlivitamins will indeed do the trick. So, for now I will deal with the loss of hair by wearing a skull cap 
and be proud of my 62 pounds I have lost.

Hi I just went to a group meeting on Saturday and I asked the hospital's nutrionist about hair loss cause I am lossing a lot and she said that hair goes through a new cycle every four months so because I am post op four months it is normal and would probably last a couple more week..

I have been doing great since my surgery, down over 70lbs and several sizes. I have a had few minor incidents with dumping and vomitting. I just stay clear of the stuff that caused it. My mom is addicted to QVC and had shipped to me several new tops and outfits in a 1X which is wonderful, I even can fit in some regular size XL tops!!!! I am glad to see that everyone is having similar success.
