It took me 2 years to get approved! I know how you feel about the wait, well half as much I guess. And it still seems to good to be true, that my new beginning is only 18 days away. Congrats on yours as well.

They told me yesterday that I only have to do the liquid diet for 4 days. Not sure guess some drs different i was expecting it to go for longer then that.

I am scheduled for banding on the 5th in Baltimore with Dr. Singh. Am excited, scared, worried, etc. But, I know that this is what is best for me right now! I start the liquids on Tuesday so Monday hubby and I will go out to celebrate his birthday with some great seafood!

thats my birthday. im so happy for you both. my date is not til valentines day. i wi**** were sooner but thats ok, almost here anywyas. are you guys on liquids yet? how is it?

i have to do liquid diet two weeks pre-op. slim fast, carnation instant breakfast, cream soup, pudding, jello etc. i think this is going to be sooo hard and i worry if i will be able to follow through with this. i think i am going to practice it this weekend just for a few days to see how it feels. i hope i can do it. i think if i dont the doctor will cancel the surgery. and i cant let that happen! has anyone else had to do this a succeed?

Im sooo nervous, I have been waiting 4 years for this and finally Im within a month....now is has become a reality!! I am ready though....the date is set....now I just sit and wait, patience is not my best feature....haha
