I have been at the same weight for the past 3 weeks. I started at 323 now i'm staying around 245 to 248. That puts my loss around 75 to 80 lbs. but I can't understand why I have stopped losing weight. I still can't even eat a whole egg and am trying to get all my water in. Help if you can!!! Surgery date is Feb. 18, 2008

My surgery was 2/26 and I am dealing with the same thing. For the past month I am lucky if I lose 1lb a week if that. And to top it off, sometimes I will go up 2lbs for a couple of days and then back down and THEN lose the 1lb. ARGHHHHHHH!!!! To put a positive spin on it....the slower you lose, the less the chance that you will need plastics when you are done!!

I agree with what you say - I had my surgery 02/13/08 and have lost 105lbs, the water weight seems to be a never ending battle! Seems like I am down two lbs and then back up 3 the ext day but then all of a sudden I begin losing again. Anyhow keep up the good work! Its a great journey!

I have found that if I up my protein intake (via shakes, drinks) and water intake, that it helps break a plateau. Right now I am losing pounds pretty slowly, but instead seem to be losing inches. Shorts I bought just two weeks ago are already getting too big. I should have know but I needed some that fit in this oppressive heat. I can alway ebay them later. Up your protein, cut your carbs and drink more water! Sandi

I am also at a complete standstill. I started at 5-6" and 260 and now am 203. My weight loss has been slower than many from the beginning. I went over 5 weeks one time without losing a THING. Now I am at 4 weeks at 203 and really frustrated; albeit not as bad as the last time. It is like a standoff between my body and my will. The good thing, however, is that I seem to get the most comments on the change in my body while I am not losing weight and I think it must be due to my body changing the way it looks. The thing that has me the most concerned right now is the amount of food I can eat. You say you can't eat a whole egg????? wow. I can eat two eggs with lots of sauteed zuchinni and onions and three of the wasa light crackers. I am counting everything that goes into my little mouth but I am having a hard time keeping calories under 1000 per day and that spooks me. On the other hand I am not eating junk like candy or chips so I feel good about where the calories are coming from. Hang in there....it WILL move.

Hi all feb losers, It's funny I read and read on here and never post. But now I need help.....I like everyone else it seems am at a stand still too. I have only lost 5 lbs in the last month. I thought at this point we should be losing 10lbs a month. Am I wrong with that???? I walk every single day. Some days I walk more than others. I have tried to increase my food intake, but that only makes me feel worse and guilty. I know I'm having a problem with protien. I CAN'T STAND any protien bars, or shakes..so those are completely out of the question. I don't like eggs or cottage cheese either. any suggestions???? I am gone for over 9 hours a day so I'm looking for help on high protien items I can have for snake time. (besides yogurt) I'm doing that already. I think I'm only getting about 30gms of protien a day............Please don't get me wrong. I am down 83lbs which I am very proud of, but I need to lose another 70....Everyone says this stand still will break, but when?? Does this last for months then just break?? I need encouragement. Oh yes, and I do drink tons of water. HAPPY HUMP DAY EVERYONE!!
