Help I had weight loss sugery 3 years ago Nov... I have been in the hospital in and out b/c of leisons, but I can deal with that... I am down 111lbs...but I want to lose atleast 40 more lbs... I need help I am so off track... I haven't gained any weight (thank god) but I am back into the habit of eating when I am stressed or bored... I would like to start exercising, I made excuses for a while... working full time and going to school full time, but now I just want to do it and feel better about myself.... I am so down and wish that I just had some support... I was thinking about joining weigh****chers, but I know that I can not eat enough... Does anyone have any suggestions?? Or good exercises?? I am very confused... I am in a new relationship, I am 27 yrs old and I love him and he loves me for who I am, but I want to "look good" in lingerie or something special like that... Any advice or support would be great... Thanks! Jamie

Get back to the basics and start your diet over again as if you just had surgery again. They do this on another message board that I subscribe to and say it helps jumpstart the body to lose. I can't imagine it not working. I am only one week post-op so I only know what I have read. but it makes sense. Sandi

Overeaters anonymous may be helpful. They will help you stick to whatever your nutrionist or MD recommends. 111lbs is very significant weight loss, what was your goal you made with your MD? If you are working full-time and going to school full-time you are not making excuses, you are most likely overloaded and adding exercise may be futile under these cir****tances. I wonder if you are expecting too much of yourself. When I was doing full-time work and part-time grad school, I was swamped and had no time for exercise. I decided just to work and my exercise routine fell into place until I had surgery 2/25/08. I am trying to resume gentle activities now, but find I get very sore after walking and need to be regular but have lower expectations for what I can do.
