Does the gas ever go away?

I just had my lapband surgery 1 week ago and everything seems fine but the gas is killing me. My doctor told me to walk and I am. I have been taking gas x but still have alot of pain. I can't seem to burp at all. I also feel like I have a stitch(like from running) just under my lg incision. Anyone else get that?

i had it for 2 weeks around day 10 it starting going away little by little by day 15 completly gone. as for the stitch pulling 3 of my 5 were like that any way i twisted and moved it felt like it was pulling and i was kind of scared to move lol but it finally went away 3-4 weeks after surgery.

Day 17 and I still get it, but it is much better than it was. It happens when I eat/drink too fast and gas gets caught. And yes, I have the pulling on my incision areas. not fun....

My gas was really bad for 4 days but I had residual problems for another 3-4 days before it was done, it does go away walking helps, drink as much water as you can too.
