feeling Blue
Well tomorrow is my surgery day and Im feeling very blue.
Last Saturday we had our first foster child leave us and Im a blithering mess, I've tried to stay busy and not think about it as I no I have to be posative for my surgery but gee its hard loosing someone you love so much.
Anyways wish me luck cause 2moro is the start of my new life VSG here I come.
Am new to this site but, have had 3 posts with great Karma.. I'm sorry to hear about your foster child leaving. I can relate on drama pre-surgery, I was sooooo excited and then 2 days ago my 20 year old son who in the U.S. Army just told me he's being deployed to Iraq. He was a full time college student, dorming in his 3rd year. Our life has been turned upside down. I have a heavy heart and my soul is sad but, tmwr 2-19 will come and I am strong in my faith and confident My god will be co-piloting for me and get me thru this... Best of luck to you....
Hi Helen, You are not alone. I will pray for you tomorrow. What time is your surgery?
I had my VSG on Feb 7th. So I am 11 days out. I cannot imagine going into this surgery with such a broken heart from losing someone. However, VSG is a major surgery - removing an organ, and you must focus all your energy on you. Recovery for VSG is not easy - The first 2 days especially. You need to focus on yourself right now and hopefully you have a strong support system.
Hang in there, Your are in my prayers.
