Surgery set for 2/21

I'm so excited. I can't believe it is actually going to happen.

Hey Samantha! We're surgery buddies!! I'm having my revision on 2/21 too!!

I'm having my surgery on the 21st too! Do you have to do any type of liquid diet or anything before your surgery. I have to do a 10 day liquid diet which I am going to need TONS of support for. Post op liquids will be a breeze with my new pouch but my big old stomach isn't going to like just liquids. I don't have to do any night before prep, just not eat/drink after 10. Are you excited? I am waaaaay over the moon excited. It will be here before we know it. Less than three weeks away. Have you started stocking up on stuff you are going to need. I have bought a little but not much. I do my pre-op testing this week and as long as I have the day off I plan to buy everything I need.

Hi surgery buddy!! I have to do a full liquid diet starting 14 days before surgery with the last two days before surgery being a clear liquid diet. I'm a bit nervous about it, but they said we could have strained soups (except tomato) so I think I'll be okay. The two days of clear liquids is going to be the hardest though. I'm heading to the store tonight to stock up on some stuff. I can't wait for this to happen!! I'm so tired of being fat, not being able to play with my kids, not fitting into seats. I'm ready to be normal!! Keep me posted on how you are doing!!
