Topic: RE: How are my fellow SLOW LOSERS doing?
Hey there fellow slow losers; I can totally agree with you! I am about 6 months post op; I have began having vitamin issues. So now I am working on correcting this; because it is very serious! I don't get in all my protein or water all the time. I went on vacation last week; wasn't near a scale at all. Came home totally afraid to get on; but Wow it broke my plateau. I am now a ONELANDER (199.5) for the first time in years! I always get upset reading how well, and quickly others are losing. But we can't judge ourselves by the others. I have lost over 35 inches all over; went from size 24 to a size 16 and sometimes a 14! We will probably always worry! Let remember the story of the tortiose and the hare!! Just glad to be even a tortiose!! Keep up the good work gang.. Hang in there. Hugs, Judy R

Topic: RE: weight scales use them or lose them??
Hi Monica, I think scales are a nessasary evil! I weigh myself more than I should; but I also feel if I don't then I won't see progress or lack there of and become complacent. I had that dream myself many times too! I still worry about what I have lost coming back out of the closet to haunt me. So just know that you are not alone! It's but there are probably a lot more like us that don't admitt it to even themselves, let alone others. If you feel like you will obses too much don't get one; go somewhere weekly and weigh yourself. Best wishes, letting you know your not CRAZY OR ALONE! Hugs, Judy R

I have one, and I weigh myself twice a week. It's weird to see it going down, down, down, instead of up, up, up....LOL I hope you're doing well with your DS. Come on over to the DS board sometime. Nice to meet ya on here also. Lisa

Do you all keep a weight scale in your home? and if you do you weigh yourselves often? I am debating getting one any comments? when I had the RNY I would wake-up in the middle of night to see if I had gained any weight . . .
