Congradulations!!! My surgery date is Feb 12th. I'm very excited and nervous of course as you are. My husband has been very supportive but, I know he is very nervous. He lost his first wife. So he' over protective sometimes. I think that we just have to pray that our husband believe we will be fine. BEst of luck to you.

Hi Everyone: I am glad I found this message board as well. I just recently found out my surgery date, I'm so excited!!!!! I am scheduled for February 23rd for the RNY in Bridgeton, MO with Dr. de la Torre at DePaul Health Center. This sure has been a long process. I have been insurance approved since November, but it has taken this long to get my appointment scheduled. I look forward to going through this journey with all of you and can't wait to be on the losing side!!
