I'm not really on a pre-op diet yet. I had my Nut class yesterday and started the vitamin regiman today and I'm "protein loading", two protein shakes a day in addition to my regular intake. I'll have to do clear liquids plus shakes starting on the 6th. I was hoping for a week before and after banding but he swears by 2 prior & 4 afterwards and then 2 weeks soft foods... I'll be ready to kick someones tail before it's over. 
I'm recommending a hotel for my hubby so he won't get hurt. Other than that, I'm psyched and excited. It's all moving very fast although I'm sure it'll come to a screatching halt on the 6th!

Good luck misty on the lap band. I'm doing lap band too on Feb. 19....kinda scary but we'll make it through.

Hey rachel, good luck on your lapband. I'm a selfish selfpay too! I couldn't handle trying jumping through any more hoops for more than 6 months...i've been trying to lose this fat for years....so we can be selfish together! I really think that this is the best I can do for myself too. I can't wait to be on the way to actually having a body back...and not be waiting a few more months for insurance to deny me. Not saying that insurance is bad. I'm sure there'll be people *****ad this that say it is selfish and at least we can afford to pay..hey I'm taking out a loan for this...but some people buy themselves big houses and cars and cavier (sp?) As long as we're happy.

Stacey, you are too funny, my dog has been telling me forever that i need to trim down so we can go running together!! Good luck to everyone this next month.

My date is 2/13 so we'll be pretty close to each other...Still 26 days away (not that I'm counting).
