I will have the surgery in Scottsdale, Arizona on February 7th. I too was very afraid for weeks and then magically yesterday I reached calm water.
I am not sure if it is a spiritual epiphany 
or just my passion and desire for this life saving procedure has finally taken hold of my nerves..but I am glad for the sense of peace I now have. Two weeks from today I may be eating my words...but for now it looks like smooth sailing. I hope the best for you and will light a special candle 
for your losing future!

Thankyou for responding to my e-mail. I entered you into my friends list. We can keep in touch throughout our weight loss from surgery on. I am even bringing my laptopwith me to the hospital. Had my labs this morning for surgery. After being on this website and all the support I have gotten here, I do feel so much better. Thank you again.
We will support each other. My surgery is the 5th.

Thank you so much for the support. I do feel much better this morning. As soon as I can figure out how to get my picture here, I will . I'll mget my son to do it for me. Had my labwork done for surgery this morning. She put my mind at ease a bit too.

I want to thank you for responding. That was a good suggestion. I will do that. I also had my labs for surgery this morning and the technician's husband had the oopen by pass. She said he never had any problems and is now eating everything. I feel much bwetter this morning about it. Thanks for all the suipport.
