Hello everyone I am new to this form but looking forward to being part of it. I live in sacramento and i just got a surgey date of February 12th. I am very excited and very afraid please send good thoughts my way. Thank you Betty.Would like any advice you can offer.

My finding out was a bit of disbelief. I had been told in December that the insurance company required a 6-month diet (I only had 3)...I was figuring I wouldn't be getting approval until late April...I got a call Jan 2 when the doctor's office told me I was approved. My reaction was, "Ummmm...ok...that's great....how did that happen?"
It took me calling the insurance company (to get the authorization#) to really believe it.

Congrats!!! I am new to this also. My date is wed. 2/7/07. Im start'n to freak now. No one really that understands what im going thru....I found this site, and there is never anyone around......
But you will do good and ill talk to you before you go in......Good luck!
