After many months of jumping through the insurance hoops im finally approved and scheduled for the surgery on Wednesday February 7th!

Topic: Last post before surgery
Well this will proably be my last post till after I get back home from my surgery. We are leaving tomorrow(Saturday) around 2 or 3 to head to Nashville. My daughter has a cheerleading competition in Nashville on Sunday at 7:15 am. So we are staying the night and I won't have access to a computer. 
I want to say thank you to everyone for you kind words and all of your support. 
Just knowing that I am going through the same thing as another human being is comforting. My husband just doesn't understand. But as soon as I get home and feel like it I will post and give you and up date. Good Luck to all the Feb. surgery's for next week and may God watch over you. See you on the losers bench.

...I don't really have any advice to offer because I'm pretty new to this web site myself. But I love this place. I feel so much support here. I think you will too. My surgery is Feb. 5th on Monday. Maybe then I can tell you a little more. I do know the liqud diet sucks 
a lot. It's not too bad the first day or two but by the third or fourth your ready to kill or eat anything. We're glad to have you and congradulations on the surgery date.

I have been working on this since January 2006. I had some major events take place and it took me a while to get through all the hoops! 6 months of supervised diet, psych exam, losing some weight, nutrition classes, and support group finally finished in January and my surgeon scheduled my surgery for 2/27 
. His office will handle all the insurance stuff! I keep asking if there will be a problem with it and they say no it should go through, so I never had to feel that.
