Do you all keep a weight scale in your home? and if you do you weigh yourselves often? I am debating getting one any comments? when I had the RNY I would wake-up in the middle of night to see if I had gained any weight . . .

I have one, and I weigh myself twice a week. It's weird to see it going down, down, down, instead of up, up, up....LOL I hope you're doing well with your DS. Come on over to the DS board sometime. Nice to meet ya on here also. Lisa

Hi Monica, I think scales are a nessasary evil! I weigh myself more than I should; but I also feel if I don't then I won't see progress or lack there of and become complacent. I had that dream myself many times too! I still worry about what I have lost coming back out of the closet to haunt me. So just know that you are not alone! It's but there are probably a lot more like us that don't admitt it to even themselves, let alone others. If you feel like you will obses too much don't get one; go somewhere weekly and weigh yourself. Best wishes, letting you know your not CRAZY OR ALONE! Hugs, Judy R

Yes I have a scale and I weigh myself almost every day. They told me not to, but I can't help it. It just helps me keep on track. Tammy

I do not I repeat DO NOT have a scale in my house, I go to my sisters house and weigh on hers, she only lives a mile from me. If I had scales in my house it would drive me crazy with the fluctuations that happen every month. I weigh myself once or twice a month that way I usually don't see the difference or stalls and such. STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALES

I have a digital scale and use it everyday. The trick is to not let it run your moods, but to use it as a tool. I use it to be sure I am doing all the right things and with experimenting with foods it helps me figure out what works and what doesn't. Tammy

I have a Weigh****chers digital scale and i only weigh myself every 2 weeks--In the past i got obsessed with weighing myself too much and getting discouraged--so every 2 weeks is good--Do not get obsessed with the SCALE please--it only sabatoges you if you weigh yourself too MUCH! Good Luck to you and with your weight loss journey. SUSIE SMITH from PA
