Hi, I am almost 5 months out and need some guide lines ( I do have a call into my nut ) and can't find my book at this moment, so I thought I would turn to experts here... how many calories, fat, carbs and protien are you taking in a day? Thanks, Claire

I use this as my guide.... go on Google and search Gastric Bypass Diet Phase #1-3 http://www.stronghealth.com/services/surgical/bariatric/images/POSTOPDIET3.pdf this is Phase #3, which you should be on. Hope it helps you some.

Hi Claire- I think your nut will have the right answers for you. Every doctor does things a little bit different. My nut says minimum of 45 grams of protein and I stay under 700 calories a day..... Good Luck! Shelley

Claire I am on my lifetime diet.. I had my surgery in Danville PA.. I can eat between 800-1,000 calories a day.. And a minimum of 60 grams of Protein at least--more if possible and as low fat and low carb as i can-- But like others said every doctor is diffrent--you really need to call the nutritionist who works with your surgeon.. hope i helped a little SUSIE SMITH From NE PA
