Weight loss since Feb
Hi guys! I want to play!!
When was your surgery date? February 5th
How much have you lost so far? 88.5 lbs
How much to your goal? 46 lbs (goal @ 150)
How do you think you could help someone else that seems to be stuck? I would certainly like to think so. I love to help newbies through the surgical jitters and knowing what to expect. As far as helping someone who has hade a stall, I could only relay information I have heard on line. I have only experienced the 3 week out stall and have been blessed not to have had one since. I know this is a honeymoon period, and things will slow - but I am loving life right now.
Okay, my turn!!
Surgery date: Feb 26, 2007
To date I've lost: 62 lbs (plus another 24 before surgery so 86 total total...lol)
To goal: 44
I think the best help we can give someone is the truth. If they ask about your experience be honest. Also don't be hard on someone when they ask a question. We were all new to this process at one time!

Hiya!
Surgery Date: Feb 14th
Starting: 252
Current: 179
Down 73lbs and about 19 to goal
Surgery date: Feb 26, 2007
Weight loss to date: Only 36 since surgery but 86 overall
How far til goal: I have too far to my goal to even think about it.
How to help someone stuck: I really don't know since I feel stuck myself. I guess just letting folks know they are not alone. I have been stuck and it is depressing and frustrating. Sometimes I wonder if the surgery was done wrong or maybe there is just something wrong with me. I can't exercise due to immobility and Prednisone is taken daily for RA and that gets in the way of weight loss so I have obstacles too. I'm trying to keep positive but those blues just sneak up on me sometimes. I am grateful for the WL to date and feel so much better than I did at 365 pounds. I can breathe easier and am more comfortable. I thank God for this website and all of you who are there to share and listen. XOXO
Okay everyone...here it goes
Surgery Date: Feb. 13, 07
Lost so far: 60 pounds
Start Weight: 260 pounds
Current Weight: 200 pounds
To Dr. Goal: 50 pounds
To my goal: 65 pounds
I can tolorate pretty much anything right now..I haven't had the dumping yet and pray I never do. Things have been going pretty good and this is the best thing I could have done in my life. I have people who only see me every now and then come up and say "Wow you've lost alot of weight....you look great" Let me tell ya it feels great to hear that from people who see you every day and once in a while. I work at a school as a secretary so its hard to get the exercise during the day. I walk as much through the school as possible and stick to the diet drinks. I love the way I look and love shopping in the misses section even better!!!!! I hope to hear that everyone else is doing well also. I've been a slow looser but its okay with me as long as I'm loosing. Everyone is different so be happy with what your body is doing.

Surgery date: 2-5-07
Weight Loss from highest weight: 75 pounds 310pd
" " from date of surgery 63 pounds 297pd
Weight to go: 84 pounds 150pd
Current weight: 234pounds
I can't help anyone stuck. I didn't drop any weight for a month. Then I lost 10 pounds in a week and a half. And that was only because a spider bite me and I was sicker than a dog and didn't eat much of anything. I started back eating for two days and gained a pound back. I feel like I don't eat any thing, but the weight just doesn't want to come off. So the only thing that worked for me was not to eat anything, but then I was so weak and shakey. And I knew it was from not eating right.
But any exercise does seem to help. Walking, swimming, working out.
Good Luck everyone.
Charlotte

I agree with the protien. Also Support I joined a new group last night and it was great it is more convient for me than my suregons group so I will e more successiful at attending it. Also planning Meals!!
When was your surgery date? 2/16/07
How much have you lost so far? 386 (day of surgery) - 290 (2 weeks ago on the Publix scale) = 96 pounds lost
How much to your goal? 40-90 more pounds to go. I have not decided whether to stop at 250 or 200.
How do you think you could help someone else that seems to be stuck? Not sure what the term stuck means.
I am starting to doubt whether my doctor actually preformed the gastric bypass on me. I have changed the way I eat, but as I read the postings on this site I sometimes am afraid. I have not gone through the things that some members have gone through. I am glad I am missing out, but my surgery seems to perfect. I have never had dumping, and I pray I never do. I am concerned with how often it seems people are going to the hospital. I have only gone back to the hospital for my check ups.
Sorry, I am babbling....
I had my surgery on 2/2/07. I've lost about 30 pounds so far. I don't really have a weight goal. My main goal at the moment is to get into onederland. I'm only 2 pounds away. :-0
In terms of helping other people, all i can say is i'm right there with you and i'm sure there are many other****ting plateaus. so, basically, you're with plenty of good company. but, we'll all get there.
Good luck!!
