OK OK....I have been really bad about posting, but no one on this board ever keeps it going so I am a board hopper! I will say that My surgery was on 2/1 an I am down 70lbs and have gone from a size 22 to a 12/14, depending on what the style is. I do hate low rise jeans. I am not really exercising per say a regimen, but I have five kids and work full time and my kids are very active in ball so I am constantly going and am never home or sitting down. I mow the lawn without huffing and puffing. I cross my legs constantly. That is one of the best things about this. I also love to look at myself in the mirror. I can't believe how hot I am. I had a woman at work actually tell me I am a milf, she was just joking of course, but she was trying to let me know how great I was looking these days. I have hard time eating though. I think I should be eating more but I am not. Some days it takes me sitting dow forcing myself, which in turn makes me sick So how is everyone else doing. Has anyone had any great wow moments? Mine was getting in those 12 strech jeans today (I could careless they were stretch as lon as they were a 12)! Lets keep this board a running!

My surgery was on Feb 7th. I have lost 65 pounds. I am happy with the results. Lets see...WOW moments..... Being able to walk, talk and breathe all at the same time, crossing my leggs are a big thing, I do it all the time too, without even thinking. Not having anything to wear because I am shrinking out of everything. Learning how to take all of the compliments I get, being able to grocery shop, the extreme pain I have in my back eases up more, being able to walk to and on the beach again, being able to wear heals again, putting on a short skirt and knowing I look good in it, my face being so much thinner and changing everyday, my family complimenting me, watching my boys react when they see someone flurting with me, buying a new bathing suit that was a 16-18 (my last one was a 26), the refreshed sex life at home, being able to clean house better, being able to play sports with my two teenage boys....Oh GOD my list could go on forever. Life has changed so much for the better. I have a hard time making myself eat too. I wasn't a big eater before surgery, and I too have to make myself eat. Eating once a day is good for me. I love fruit and vegs, meat and I are still learning to get along. Usually I can only take a few bites and have to move around so it will go down. Boiled shrimp, steamed crab leggs and oysters go down real good. Life is good.

Hi Nicole! I am determined we are going to keep this board going this time. Thanks for being a part of that! It sounds like you are doing GREAT!! A size 12??? FREAKIN' 12??? That is so great! I am with you on the eating - it is tough to make myself eat more and I have the same :rolf: problem you do. But I keep working it - hoping to get this all worked out. My wow moments are posted on a previous post - but I'll summarize: 1) I got my periods back (okay not exciting really - but it means I am healthy again) 2) I am in size 18s (it has been over 7 years) 3) I reached Onderland 4) I see working out as my "treat" for ME versus the burden I used to view it with 5) I see my future and myself in it as a healthy activer person! ((Hugs)) to you! and keep on coming back to check in! Shelley
