I have noticed in the morning I have trouble eating also, so I dont eat. I bought some whey protien powder and put a scoop in my coffee and the trick is to drink it slowly. It takes me half an hour to drink it all. This gives me 23 grams of protien in the morning, I wont eat breakfast after that until around 9:30. I think its that your rushing it, your rush days are over, if you are trying to get it down too fast, you will get that stuck feeling. Remember, this is a different way of life and you have to adjust to it. When they say take 20-30 minutes to eat and drink they are not kidding. Hope this helps you.

I have never been a breakfast eater...even pre surgery. So basically I have a protein bullet and a couple of my vitamins in the morning and no real food until lunch. That just works for me. Lisa

I am 6 wks out and I eat yogurt most mornings but also have tried Chocalate Soy Slender Soy Milk (70 calories and 7 protiens). I have problems if I drink too much milk, the soy milk is excellent.

My salvation has been to start the morning with either water or decaf coffee. Slowly sip for about thirty minutes, then wait about thirty then eat. It kinda gives the pouch a little while to "wake up" before I go assaulting it!

I am the same way! I now drink water when I get up with my vitamins. Then after I take a shower and get ready I mix one of the IDS Whey Protien Fruit Punch Bullets (look **** big test tubes) with Ice and water and sip it on my way to work. It has about 24 grams of protien. I usually eat breakfast about 10 - 10:30 and I am feelong better then. The IDS had an orange flacor as well and has 42 grams or protien. Good Luck, Lisa
