Laying on my sides

I can finally lay on my side when I sleep without feeling funky! I had lap RNY two weeks ago today and am down 21 lbs.! I was getting so tired of sleeping on my back to the point it was really getting uncomfortable. Last night I tried snuggling my hubby laying on my right side and didn't feel like things were "moving and sliding". I was so excited that I had to try the other side too! Thank God I can finally sleep like a normal human being! The things we take for granted!

I feel ya. I had the same surgery about a week before you and I have never slept on my back before surgery. I can't sleep that way actually. I noticed about a week ago that I woke up on my side and then the next night on my stomach. It was finally comfortable to go back to normal sleeping positions for me and I was so excited. Now I can sleep on my stomach(as I always have) without any pain. Every once in awhile I'll feel the pressure, but it's just a matter of shifting position a little. Best wishes and sweet dreams!
