HELLO EVER ONE I AM 4 WEEKS OUT !!!

I WANT TO ASK A QUESTION HAS ANY ONE TOOK LIQUID TYLENOL EXTRA STRENGTH ???? I HAD MY GASTRIC BYPASS 1/22/07 GOT HOME ON THE 1/25/05 I START TO LOSS THE WEIGHT REALLY FAST ..TODAY I LOST 33 POUNDS SO FAR JUST WANTED LET EVERONE KNOW ...THANKS U IF ANY ONE HAS TRYED THE LIQUID TYLENOL I HAVE VERY BAD BACK ACHE.... I haven't but another person in my support group mentioned they had taken it early on in their recovery and the nutritionist leading the meeting seemed to indicate that that was fine. Congratulations on your weight loss. My surgery is tomorrow.

I have taken the Tylenol to GO tabs they are chewable and have even helped my headaches that previously I had only been able to take Excedrin Migraine for!! Hope this helps!

Hi My doctor told me to buy it on my way home from the hospital and use it instead of the narcotic pain killers if possible as the pain got less severe. Was fine. Shelley

Hello there and congrats on your success! I am five days out. I took liquid tylenol extra strength today after my surgeon telling me to do so. I took 2 ounces (the full dose) at one time. I would recommend taking 1 oz and then 30 minutes later take the other 1 oz. I did OK. It just filled my pouch really quickly, but then again, I am 5 days post op. It really did help my pain. ...Jill

hey jill 2 oz really i would think thats alot , it only said to take 2 tables spones...i only took one ..congrats being on the lossing side !!!! Roxanne

I've been using Liquid Tylenol post-op also. I think 2 tablespoons is pretty close to 2 oz as well, so I don't think its an overdose. It's alot to drink, especially the first day when more than 2 baby sips would make me pace the room forcing a burp...but it just took some time. I have definitely spread it out over an hour. Our pharmacy had only one bottle when my husband went to pick up, the stuff is like gold to me. Narcotic meds give me horrible migranes so I'm really glad this is working fine for me.
