wind pain 16 days post op with lap band.

can anyone help me, i am 16days post op with having a gastric band fitted mid band been told i can eat normal foods after day 7, but suffering with terrible wind like pains on mostly on my left hand side back and front, it's there first thing in the morning , before i eat and after i eat, does anyone know if this is normal or if somthing is wrong please help thank you. I'm not sure how to answer your question. I have a left sided pain and back pain that occur when I swallow and get better after belching. This may sound weird but rubbing my left back helps me burp. After about 10 seconds, it goes away. I hear gurgling with this. My doctor says its OK because I have a tiny stomach now. I don't know if that's what you experience.
