Hi Everyone, I am new here.
My surgery date is Feb 28th. I am excited and so far I am not nervous at all. If anyone has any advice for feel free to give it to me. I look forward to chatting with everyone. I am a mother of four. Two girls and two boys. I am a stepmom to the boys. Ages 6, 8, 13, and 16. I am an RN student, which is another important reason for me to lose this weight. I am happily married and my husband is supportive of this surgery, but he is worried. Well, I wish everyone well. Talk to ya later.

Hello Regan,
I'm fairly new also. My surgery is tomorrow at 1:30, so we are just one week apart. I'm not nervous, but just want to get it over with at this point.
Sounds like you're a busy lady! My nephew is an RN, and he had WLS about a year ago. He says it has sure made his job easier.
I wish you well, and will be praying for your hubby also.
See ya,
Pam S.
hello. My surgery date was 02/13/07. I was excited, nervous, scared all combined. You know you've done all the research, and finally the day is almost here. Good luck. My husband was worried too, but he was a rock, he stayed with me the whole 3 days I was in the hospital. I guess my advice is to get out of bed and start moving asap after your surgery, that's the quickest way to start feeling better, and the know that every day gets better.
